The trouble with creatine powder is that you need to keep taking it to benefit from the effects. Like a lot of medications, it provides short-term results which substitute for a lifestyle change. To get longer-term effects, a proper exercise and diet regime needs to be worked out.
This applies to medications for weight-loss or muscle-enhancement. Another concern is that taking any medications over a long-term may introduce side-effects. It is always advisable to read up about any possible effects especially when the medication has not been prescribed.
