Speaker Stands

Hi-Fi has changed with the influx of compressed music (MP3), the concept of high-end audio has changed a great deal over the last decade or so.
The most popular form of music nowadays is low-quality and carried around on mobile phones, MP3 players, laptop computers and memory sticks. Yet the market for high-end audio is not dead, it still captures the imagination of the older generation who still remember vinyl.

With audio becoming more 'niche', components have started to look more appealing, even speaker stands have become statements of art rather than mere functional objects. Valves have reappeared in amplifiers with some manufacturers even claiming they put the 'warmth' back into compressed digital music files.
