If you haven't yet looked into 'LinkedIn' as a way to either publicise yourself, or your business, then you should give it some serious thought... I have added myself to LinkedIn mostly because other people suggested I should, since then I have linked in with a few friends and looked up their work history. You can also find company profiles on LinkedIn such as Linkedin ProFlowers profile.

LinkedIn uses a social networking type model, but is strictly about business and recruitment. In most cases, people add their work history to their profiles so that prospective employers might find out more. Businesses can now also use the service to raise their own profile and put something like a mission statement online, or a description of what area of business they operate within.
