Rustic furniture

I love pieces of rustic furniture, in fact, although I like clean modern lines too, I do think rustic has more longevity, and is more welcoming too.
The beauty of timeless rustic furniture is that you can't tell how old it is, whereas modern stylized furniture dates very quickly. I am one of those people who would rather scour second hand shops or antique shops than modern furniture stores.
There is something ruggedly honest about roughly cut timber assembled with care into a bed or a sideboard that adds a touch of simplicity to a room.
