One sure-fire way to get paid for posting is to join MyLot
MyLot is a discussion forum where you can get paid for asking and answering questions. Topics are as wide as you can imagine.
As you build up friends and follow discussions, you make money for posting quality content. How can this be?? Well, MyLot use advertising on the discussion pages and collect pay per click payments for the ads. They pass on some of the earnings to the folks that provide the content.
Take care, though...it can get addictive, use the link above or the one on the left-hand side of the page to visit the MyLot forum. Payments are in $US and paid to your paypal account, couldn't be simpler - start earning right now!

What next?
Still in it's fedgling state, I intent to add some interest to the site in the next few days alongside investigating more paid to blog programmes.
The sister site to this blog can be accessed at http://www.livewyre.blogspot.com this site is intending to help people with setting up a website or a blog. I have utilised some google gadgets on my livewyre blog and intend to do something similar to this one. I believe that it is important for your blog to look interesting and current so that you might persuade visitors to come back and revisit you.

Experimental post
Today’s post will be a trail run post as if it were a paid advert – It will be exactly 100 words and will be worded to promote my own website:
Take a look at the LiVEWYRE Studio Website at: http://www.cassette2cd.co.uk , LiVEWYRE Studio offers a service to convert your old audio cassette tapes into CD or MP3 format. Imagine those old tape recordings mouldering away in the bottom of a draw suddenly and miraculously regenerated in the form of a brand new CD that you can play in your home stereo, car or even your PC. There are limitations, and the quality of the original recording is obviously going to impact the result. However, due to advanced noise reduction procedures, you can generally expect sparkling results, pleasing to the ear.

Web Site Submission
Tip: Todays task was website submission. I have added the site to my google account and will use 'AddMe.com' (see link on left-hand side) to get the site submitted to search engines for free.
Next I will add Adsense to the blog and will add a 'filter' to my Adsense reporting on google so that I can get an idea of the page impressions and clicks generated.
At some point I think I might practice the art of paid-per-post entries by creating short adverts for my own site. this should give me an idea of structure - one particular task I want to try is a post with EXACTLY 100 words (minimum required by Payperpost) to get a feel for how this can be done.

Pay-per-post (payperpost.com)
Pay per post looks like exactly the sort of scheme I'm looking for, there is a drawback though... I am happy with the basis of the arrangement. I register with pay-per-post, I write an article, I submit it for approval, I get paid....
Sounds ideal, but the drawback is that the blog must be 90 days old with regular content added. My problem is that the paid blogging is supposed to be the content, so I have fallen at the first hurdle - bit of a chicken and egg situation...
I will resume my search for a suitable program to link up with and obviously post my results...I am hoping to have some results within 90 days though!!

Latest update to 'About' [feb 2010]
This blog has been through some ups and downs, losing pagerank and going off-track, regaining pagerank and getting back on track again - and losing it again when PPP posties were slapped by Google...
Originally conceived as a blog to investigate paid to post opportunities, this blog has sought to evolve and change with the times.
Unsurprisingly, it has been proved that PayPerPost was top-dog when it comes to earning cash for blogging, with others valiantly following behind in it's wake. The notable others for me were blogsvertise and smorty - at least when I regained some pagerank and thus some dignity.
What's all this about pagerank then? I hear you ask.... For those that don't know, pagerank has traditionally been regarded by Google as a good indication of page quality and is based largely on links, backlinks and age of domain amongst other parameters. Most paid to blog schemes use pagerank as an indication of the quality of your blog and that dictates whether you get the juicy high-paying tasks or if you are fighting for scraps under the table.
This blog dropped from a PR2 to a PR1 whilst I was really developing things which proved to be quite a blow. I was honestly hoping to get a pagerank boost, but got just the opposite...
Having been penalised [probably] by Google for amassing back-links too quickly in viral schemes, my pagerank dropped thus limiting earnings via PPP. This caused a drastic re-think and shift of emphasis into blogging competitions for a few months. After all, if I enter enough competitions, I am bound to win something... I was rewarded with a PR4 which dropped to PR0 at the very next round of rankings...
I kept this blog as a blogspot for 12 months so that the experiment to earn online cash can be shown to have been carried out with absolutely no cost on my part - all earnings were pure profit. I spent some of the time when I was not doing a lot of paid posting, redesigning the blog and adding some personal touches. I finally bought munny4hunny.com and have tried to raise the standards of the blog accordingly - part of the reason for this was to see if I could get a new pagerank for the new domain.
I registered a second blog with smorty.com and blogsvertise to boost my earnings, earnings from the second (blogspot) blog will be included in total blog earnings. Each month I will print out the full speadsheet indicating where the money has come from, the earnings date from January 2007.
I have been developing other websites in the meantime - I have a website for converting cassettes into CD's and have developed a new website for webmasters, bloggers and general internet users. Website building and development is something that I intend to be more and more heavily involved in if I can make it pay... I have created a new blog (with no paid posting) called Beckham News, I have created this blog to investigate the relationship between blogs and search engines and may be able to use the results to drive more traffic to other sites in the future.
I just realised that I have missed out one very important 'about' item: why 'Munny4Hunny'? There are several reasons, I wanted something original and quirky - the blog is about getting some extra 'munny' (cash, loot, moolah) to spend on 'hunny' (luxuries, treats). I used the winnie the pooh spelling of honey and then mutated money in the same way. There you go, quite straightforward wasn't it?
(added 2010 - three years later...)
I can hardly believe that I have been at this game so long, suffice to say that it HAS proved profitable, but the focus has continued to shift about as with all internet-based projects. I now rarely do any paid posting apart from for 'PayU2Blog' who make it very easy to make small amounts very quickly, I am still very occasionally using other sites, but PPP for me is virtually a thing of the past, they have gotten very cheap and want you to jump through hoops which I can't be bothered with any more. My main focus for the future will be passive earnings, but I will continue with Munny4Hunny to faithfully report earnings (I am now reporting total earnings rather than just blogging revenue, and I have switched currencies to £UK rather than $US - this is because it means I can use the same spreadsheet that I will use to submit my earnings for tax - yes I am paying tax on my earnings!). I am also continuing with paid blogging on this blog because I feel it is still a good way to boost revenue, and having several strings to your internet 'bow' is essential. the other main source of income is from my cassette to CD site which still adds to the coffers both from clients and from contextual adverts. Please continue to read and comment - all (non-spammers) are welcome to comment...
