Custom Valances

Finishing touches such as custom valances are what turns a room from being cold and soul-less into being the space that you have created for you and your family to enjoy.
I am about to embark on a bit of Yuletide decorating with my paintbrush in my hand. The transformation will take place in the hallway, the stairs and the landing. Having been recently plastered, the walls and ceiling will get their first coat of paint (I meant to buy white, but accidentally bought magnolia! ooops - back to the shop tomorrow morning methinks..).
The finishing touches in this space will not be curtains and valances, but will be reflected in the woodwork where nicely matched architraving will be the outstanding feature, along with some well-chosen prints and frames.
